This Week in History

Destiny's Child performed at Philips Arena on July 28, 2001 to a sold out house on thier Fullfiled and Lovin It Tour. The ladies of Destiny's Child made this a memorable performance singing tracks from their latest album Survivor, which Beyonce co-wrote and co-produced most of. Along with an outstanding performance at Philips Arena, Destiny's Child filmed their performance for a DVD entitled Destiny's Child Live from Atlanta. This Week in History

On July 24, 2004 Madonna was at Philips Arena on her "re-Invention Tour" as one of her 12 North American stops of the tour. This tour included material from Madonna's most recent release of her 2004 "American Live" album ,as well as many of her classic hits.

This Week in History


In July of 2004 Dragon Tales performed 6 shows with Philips Arena! This was a theatre style show that included apperances by Max and Emmy, and their dragon friends Cassie, Ord, Zak and Wheezie. With their magical dragon's scales, Max and Emmy where able to have many fun adventures at Philips Arena's Dragon Land.
