Lil Wayne Loves Philips Arena!! Not only did he play Philips Arena for New Years Eve of 2008 he also just performed again this past Saturday night to mark his return in less than a year to Philips Arena. Lil Wayne played New Years Eve of 2008 with rapper friend T-Pain, on his I Am Music Tour. His most recent performance at Philips Arena brought down the house at the Hot 107.9 Jingle Bash when he performed with fellow Cash Money Records friends! Love Lil Wayne's beats? Check out this interesting tid bit on Lil Wayne, he stated in an interview with Blender Magazine that his favorite band from childhood was Nirvana and actually had a major influence on some of his own music.
